Changes to the legislation regarding NSW government workers’ compensation and distribution of claims benefits saw the establishment of WIRO as an independent review office. Dialogue was commissioned to conduct strategy consultation and design of the associated visual program for the brand. Intended to appear independent of departmental ties, the visual solution was clear of any official nomenclature. Execution of the program included signage, display materials, animated explanatory videos, publications and a comprehensive website.
The company has produced a series of Annual Reports for the Victorian Small Business Commissioner dating back to the 2009/10 issue. The documents are smart yet simple and provide the statutory reporting requirements for Victorian Government and allow for passive marketing and promotion of the ombudsman and his office’s activity each year. Curiously, the 40-page report contains perhaps the smallest possible set of financials for such a document, coming in at a very brief 12-line chart!
Ahead of incorporation of Australia’s Medicare Local offices into the new Primary Health Networks system, a significant update of the website run by the Macedon Ranges and Northwest Melbourne division was required. Given the short lifespan of the outcome, a themed solution using the WordPress publishing platform was set up and run successfully for the duration.
The design and content management system for the WIRO website was produced shortly after office launch and was the first major implementation of the branding solution provided to the client by Dialogue. The site interface was directed equally to the general public seeking legal representation and to those involved in services on the government and administration side. It included streamlined information and guidance regarding the processes of WIRO services as well as a significant amount of legal information and case study summaries.
Numerous federal politicians manage ‘personal’ websites that are not linked officially to main party counterparts and focus on local constituency activity. The website for Senator Arthur Sinodinos is largely a consolidation point for a range of media services that his staff publish and account for the Senator’s various presentations, appearances, interviews, speeches and writings.
In 2008 a two-year contract to produce Annual Reports for the Department of Industry, Innovation and Regional Development was awarded to Dialogue. The project was a massive undertaking in both editions due to the document length of 200+ pages and the short production timeline between copy finalisation and tabling in parliament. Success came largely from having the one person involved in every aspect of the project on the design and production side, from start to finish. The second of the two reports adopted a design theme developed by the Department’s in-house design department.
